E14 Honey is more than a beekeeping project. It is a living classroom. For over 14 years, students at George Green School have been looking after the bees with their teacher, Jane, who now leads the project. She works with local honey producers and community farms to help young people understand biodiversity, pollination and the delicate balance of urban ecology.
These beeswax candles are made from wax collected through this work. Each one represents hours spent tending to the hive, learning about colony life, and watching the bees help the garden grow. The candles are natural, lightly scented and made with the same quiet patience bees teach their keepers.
Every candle sold helps fund new colonies, teaching equipment and hives so more young people can experience the wonder of beekeeping.
